In Dragon Quest III and IV, resilience directly determines a character's maximum Hit Points, it being between 195 to 205% of the Resilience value. HP can be restored via medicinal herbs, healing spells, resting at an inn, etc. All damage subtracts from this score, and if it reaches 0, the character can no longer participate in battle, and must be revived. Hit Points (HP), or life value (生命値), determine how much health a character has remaining. Overall, this distribution only applies outside of dungeons. The experience distribution between the main party and the wagon party differs by game. In most games, experience is tied to the stat growth of each individual player character, though in Dragon Quest III and IX stat growth is dependent on the character's vocation. When a character accrues a specific, predetermined number of experience points, they will "level up" (that is, gain a level of experience) and receive parameter increases particular to their overall character type. The more powerful the monsters, the greater the amount of experience points gained. The completion of a quest may also yield EXP like in Dragon Quest IV. There are also event missions that will nab you some goodies, and daily Rank Up Quests for different Slime Family monsters as well.Experience points (often shortened to EXP) are gained at the end of a battle (whether fixed or random encounter) as a reward. You’ll get rewards for logging in every day the Slime Fest is running. We reckon there’ll be new monster banners in the Scout Pull section as well. Then there’ll be a new Slime Fest boss battle and a new Slime Fest Battle Road. The first part of the Slime Fest runs until March 9th. That’s a lot of work, but it’s definitely going to be worth it in the long run. To open up the Slime Fest Battle Road you’ll need to have cleared Story Chapter 6, Episode 2 and have finished Magellan Road 3. You’ll earn yourself an ability-unlocking Glacier Scroll if you finish it. It’s even exclusive, so you’ll need to finish it before the event comes to an end. The Slime Fest Battle Road is the Pickled Slime Battle Road. You unlock Slime Fest Boss Battle Ultra by completing Chapter 2, Episode 5 of the Slime Fest event quest. You unlock Slime Fest Boss Battle Advanced by completing Chapter 1, Episode 5 of the Slime Fest event quest. They don’t cost any stamina to play through either, and you can pick up the Slime Dagger and the Slime Wand by completing them. These are additional parts of the event quests that rewards you with even more Slime Fest Medals. To open up the event quests you’ll need to have cleared Chapter 2, Episode 1 of the main story of Dragon Quest Tact. This used to be a one-off reward on Slime-type battle road levels, but now you can farm it multiple times. Here you can also pick up the A-rank monster Pickled Slime, as well as getting the Slime Dagger.
